| Scholarships for Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan |
| The New York-based Fund for Veterans Education announced it would award up to $1 million in undergraduate scholarships for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and during the spring 2008 term. The awards, which may be renewed for following academic year, are intended to cover financial need not met by need-based grants and miliary education benefits.
