Welcome to The American Legion, Department of Nebraska website. This website has been designed to be helpful to our members and to provide information for individuals wanting to learn more about The American Legion.

This site contains information on our numerous programs, membership, upcoming meetings, VA claims assistance and more. For non-members, check us out. Find out what The American Legion does for our communities, state and nation. After exploring our website and you feel that The American Legion is an organization that is "right" for you, join a post in your area.

I would like to welcome Legionnaires from around the state to participate in my Leadership Training class scheduled for Saturday, October 4th, beginning at 1:00pm at the Denton Post. The training will cover the American Legion Extension Institute course, including information on the American Legion's four pillars and numerous programs. Please email the Department Adjutant ( to register. After the training, my Homecoming Banquet will start at 5:30pm at the Denton Community Center. Please email me at to reserve a seat.
